Kensington is popular with the college crowd, with SAIT and Alberta College of Art just up the hill,
and the University not far away. The Northwest LRT makes it a handy place to end the day.
The plentiful coffee shops on virtually every corner and nifty little boutiques make
Kensington an interesting place to hang out (though usually not for the booze).
Bass Brothers has live bands on weekends, and the pub set will argue the merits of Molly Malone's Irish Pub versus
The Kensington Pub, with its nautical flair.
