Calgary Stampede: New 2007 Smoking Rules

Everyone has become more conscious about their health and the impact on others' "second hand" smoke on their own health as well as the health and working conditions of hospitality workers.
Nashville North is now non-smoking, and all can now see the performers on stage all through the evening. Even the Stampede Casino is non-smoking.
There are a number of designated outdoor smoking areas, marked with green circles surrounding a cigarette image:
- at the north and south ends of the Grandstand
- just west of the North end of the Stampede SkyRide
- west of the Canadian Country Music & Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame (at the east edge of the Midway)
- on the south side of the Agrium Discovery Centre (about 100 metres North of Nashville North)
- in a designated area on the SW edge of the Midway
- at the north and south exits to the Big Four Building.
- at the east and west entrances to the Coral (venue for the SuperDogs show)
