Calgary Stampede: Stampede Breakfasts
Stampede dates: July 9-18, 2010Wrtten by: Mark Ruthenberg One of Calgary's favorite Stampede traditions is the pancake breakfast.
Everyone is served pancake, bacon, coffee juice and country music.
A morning doesn't go by without a few free breakfasts put on by malls,
communities and corporations around town. The downtown business breakfasts
(for the office workers) typically run 7 a.m. to 8:30 or 9 a.m.
All the other breakfasts (for the visitors) run from 9 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., unless marked otherwise.
* Denotes those breakfast put on by the Stampede Caravan!
Chuckwagon Breakfasts are held down at "Fluor Rope Square" (Olympic Plaza) from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. every day except Parade Day (July 3) and Sundays (July 5 & 12).
