Homes: Country Hills / Panorama Hills neighbourhoods
Country Hills is located on the north side of Beddington Trail and to the south of Country Hill Boulevard, on both sides of Centre Street. Panorama Hills straddles Country Hills Boulevard west of Harvest Hills Blvd. Cinnamon Hills lies north of Panamount Blvd. Hanson Ranch is a development vurther west (and not yet connected with Panorama Hills) but also lies north of Beddington and south of the planned route for Stoney Trail. These neighbourhoods are not only close to the airport and to the major #2 highway to the north. Country Hills Boulevard gives it fast access to the Trans-Canada Highway to Banff. These communities are well-served by the #301 BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) express line, and also have transit connections to Calgary International Airport. Schools Public Schools students in the north portion are bused to Collingwood Elementary, Balmoral Junior High in Tuxedo and John G. Diefenbaker in NW Huntington. Separate School students attend St. Margaret Elementary/Junior High in Collingwood, and St. Francis High on Northmount Drive N.W. Shopping Country Hills Town Centre, on the north side of Country Hills Boulevard east of Centre Street, has 120,000 square feet of retail space including a food store. Other shopping is to the south at Beddington Town Centre with several stores and a Calgary Co-op, to the west at Crowfoot Centre, or to the east at Deerfoot Mall, across the Deerfoot Trail. Recreation A one-acre tot lot with playground equipment and a toboggan hill in the community. These neighbourhoods are adjacent to Country Hills Golf Course, and close to Confluence Park and the Nose Creek recreational pathway. The community is home to the Nose Creek Sports & Recreation Centre, and has a multiplex move theatre The 800 acre Nose Hill Park is about 2 kilometres away. Homes The community dates back to the late 1990s. Homes being built in Panorama, north of West Nose Creek, are move-up and executive/estate homes. Homes in Hanson Ranch, south of the future Stoney Trail are also mostly move-up and executive/estate homes. Homes in Coventry Park are being built by Excel, Centrex. Community Map
