Homes: The Hamptons neighbourhood
Hamptons is located north of Country Hills Boulevard and east of Sarcee Trail. Country Hills Boulevard provides easy access to Highway 1A. The location, on the northwest slope of Nose Hill gives residents great mountain views. Schools Public board pupils attend Jerry Potts Elementary on 42nd Street N.W., Senator Patrick Burns Junior High on Chilcotin Road N.W. and William Aberhart High on Morley Trail N.W. There is an elementary school under construction, informatively funded by the developer. Separate board pupils go to St. Maria Goretti Elementary in Hawkwood, Brebeuf Junior High in Brentwood, and St. Francis High School on Northmount Drive. Shopping Country Hills Village (with a Superstore, and several banks, fast food outlets and services) is at the southeast corner of Country Hills Boulevard and Sarcee Trail. Crowfoot Town Centre, off Nose Hill Drive, has a Safeway and Revy, restaurants and several auto dealers. Recreation The community is built around an 18-hole Country Club of The Hamptons golf course, creating both visible green space, plus close-by recreation for the adults. Ball diamonds, tennis courts, hockey rinks, a community association building and multi-use building are situated on a 30 acres parcel of land. Homes The community is becoming one of the more prestige areas to live in the Northwest, with houses priced as high as $1.2 million being built. The neighbourhood even includes a gated community. The community has been under construction since 1991, and will eventually include 2,500 homes.
