This community is nestled between Glenmore Tail and the Reservoir and is best known as the home base for Ralph Klein. While the neighbourhood is pretty unspectacular, the homes in this area are. And why not, just a short walk away, you have the recreational pathways around the Reservoir, and a stunning view up the Elbow Valley toward the Rockies. Just to the west is the former military lands, recently returned to the T'suu T'ina Indian nation.

Schools
The community has a number of schools, and the high schools are just across Glenmore Trail. Mount Royal University is just a short distance away (a walk for some).

Shopping
There is a small shopping plaza on Crowchild Trail. For anything more, locals head either east to Chinook Centre or west to Westhills Shopping Centre.

Recreation
This community has just about anything you'd want for recreation. The Glenmore Reservoir trails are close-by, and you can go all the way around the reservoir or all the way downtown. The Weaselhead Flats wilderness area is at the western end of the reservoir, and is the favourite entry point into Calgary for deer, elk, wolves and (yes) bears. The Calgary Rowing Club and Calgary Canoe Club are locaed at the blue boathouse, at the end of Crowchild Trail, just inside Glenmore Park. The exclusive Earl Grey Golf Course is on the eastern end of the community. The indoor pool and indoor ice arena at Glenmore Park are just across Glenmore Trail (and safely accessible to kids via the pathway system). The nearest movie theatre is at Westhills.

Homes
The community is mostly single family homes, typically considered executive homes, with some multi-unit condominiums between Lakeview & 30th Street SW.
