One of the joys of Saturday morning, other than not going to work, is the search for a bargain at a flea market. One man's trash might turn into your treasure. It's quite easy to spend hours searching tables hoping to find something for virtually nothing.
Here are some flea market tips.
Crossroads Flea Market

Hours of Operation: Indoor Farmer's Market - Friday, Saturday and
Sunday 9am-5pm Outdoor Farmer's Market - Summer Months Friday,
Saturday and Sunday 8am-5pm
Less than 5 minutes from downtown with ample free
parking, Crossroads Markets is located at Blackfoot Trail and Ogden
Road in an eclectic 100,000 square foot historical building. Crossroads
Market is home to a flea market, antique market, indoor farmer's
market, international food fair, and a seasonal outdoor farmer's market.
Hillhurst/Sunnyside Market

Sunday 7 a.m.- 3 p.m.
The Sunday flea market is held indoors at the Hillhurst/Sunnyside Community Centre with about 100 vendors (they pay $22 fee). Because the tables are temporary, the pressure to selleverything by the end of the day is strong.
