The city keeps a number of the recreational pathways cleared throughout the
winter, making it safer for running:
- Bow River Pathway, north side from Home Rd NW to Nose Creek NE
- Bow River Pathway, soth side from Sovereigh Cr NW east to 12 St SE Zoo Bridge
- Nose Creek Pathway from Bow River north ot 25 Avenue Deerfoot Tr pedestrian

- Confedearation Park (except east of 10th St, on south side of creek)
- Elbow River Pathway, from Fort Calgary to 1St Bridge near Lindsay Park
- Marlborough Park NE
- Southland Natural Area
- Carburn Park
- South Glenmore Park, from 37 St SW to Heritage Park
- North Glenmore from 37 ST SW east along reservior along Crowchild Trail to 66
Ave SW
Given shorter daylight hours, runners are recommended to use safety prcautions
after dark, and run with a friend.
